How To Judge The Diameter Of The Grinding Steel Balls

The newly installed ball mill does not know how to judge the diameter of the steel ball of the ball mill. The editor will introduce three factors to determine the diameter of the steel ball of the ball mill.

1. Depending on the diameter of the mill, when the diameter of the mill is greater than 2500, the added steel balls are 120, 100, and 80.

2. It is related to the particle size of the ore to be ground. Generally, the particle size of the ball mill is less than 2.5cm, and the diameter of the ball should be increased according to the increase of the particle size; if it is a semi-autogenous mill, the particle size of the ball mill is 300-500 mm.

3. It is determined by the fineness of the finished product. Generally, the ball mill is 45-200 mesh. High fineness requires a small ball diameter.
