Characteristics And Uses Of Forged Steel Balls

1. The forged steel balls used in the ball mill grinding industry have a smooth surface and uniform hardness so as not to lose their roundness during the grinding process. Round, wear resistance is relatively high, because of the specificity of raw materials, it is impossible to cut corners, so the stability of the steel ball is relatively high.

2. The interior is compact. Because it is directly forged from round steel, it has high internal density and high granularity, which enhances the drop resistance and impact toughness of the wear-resistant steel ball, thereby reducing the crushing rate of the ball; the ball consumption can be reduced .

3. In general, forged steel balls have the advantage of high hardness: the surface hardness reaches 55~65HRC, and the volume hardness reaches 50~63HRC;

4. High impact toughness: impact toughness is generally higher than 15J/cm2, and the impact fatigue life of falling ball is greater than 2200.
